Mkuze Airport is situated Northern KwaZulu-Natal in Mkuze, overlooking the beautiful Tshanini Mountains, commonly known as Ghost Mountains. Mkuze Airport is currently licensed as Category 1 Airport, with plans to be a CAT 4 Regional Airport flying passenger seat aircrafts from Mkuze to Johannesburg.
Mkuze Airport Terminal Building was officially opened by the MEC for EDTEA, Hon. Duma on the 22nd of November 2022. The 1.8KM runway is ready to land up to 200 passenger seat aircrafts.
